Educator, Author & Leadership Coach
Dr. Carole A. Cobb is an educator, speaker, author, and spiritual leadership coach who is deeply committed to helping people step into the fullness of who they were created to be. As Chair of the School of Education at Kentucky State University, she brings together scholarship, leadership, and faith to prepare educators and leaders who are equipped to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Dr. Carole holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Business Management, a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Leadership, a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice Education. Her Journey

From Humble Beginnings to Impactful Leadership
Her journey began in a loving but resource-limited family where she and her six siblings were raised by their grandmother. From her grandmother’s strength, wisdom, and unwavering faith, Dr. Carole learned resilience, perseverance, and the importance of believing in something greater than oneself. Those lessons continue to guide her work today.
Throughout her career, Dr. Carole has served in multiple roles across P–12 education and higher education, teaching at institutions such as Kentucky State University, The King’s University, Spalding University, Bellarmine University, and Pace University. Her teaching and leadership focus on culturally responsive pedagogy, leadership development, equity, and preparing educators who can successfully serve diverse learners.

Her Voice

Inspiring Through Words & Purpose
She is the author of Stop Playing Small: You Are Too Relevant To Be Ignored, Significance Over Success: Choosing Impact in a World Obsessed With Achievement, and The Nature of the Journey: From There to Here. Through her writing, coaching, and speaking, Dr. Carole translates research and lived experience into practical wisdom that empowers people to move from simply doing life to becoming who they were created to be.
At the heart of her work is a simple but powerful belief: You will never truly know who you are or what you can do until you own the space in which you stand.
